New Years Resolutions of 2016

Well here we go again. I looked at the past lists and it's always been the same things. So it's time to change it up by including the positive things I'm already doing and to make the resolutions obtainable by including goals to meet them to the end.

  • Continue with going to the gym. I've been going since May and I go at least 4 to 5 days a week. I only weigh myself once a month at the beginning of it. But my new added goal is to eat better by cutting down on sweets and eating less processed foods. So far I've had no soda, except for ginger ale, but this time I will switch to the kind with no high fructose corn syrup, but with 100% real ginger root in it.
  • Continue with the volunteer work with my church and the American Legion Auxiliary, in which I have been a member of for a year so far and am now the historian for my unit and district. As Historian, my job is to take pictures of our activities and put them together in a scrapbook.
  •  Don't give up while seeking out employment, but put in a 100% effort like I really want the job. When employment is obtained, be realistic of how I handle my pay. Start paying rent and take over the car insurance bill. Save up until I have enough to pay rent for a year at an apartment.

Best and Worst of 2015

Decided to change the title a bit since I include the worst of items. Anyways...It's that time of year again to do another round up of the best and worst in music, Movies, books, and current events. A note about these, this is all based on my opinions, So here we go:

Best New Albums:
Halestorm - Into the Wildlife
Disturbed - Immortalized (finally! Something that sounds different!)
Five Finger Death Punch - Got your Six

Worst Albums:
Anything by Miley Cyrus, Justin Bieber and One Direction.

Best Songs:
"Into the Fire" by Halestorm
"Jeckyll & Hyde" by Five Finger Death Punch
"The Vengeful One" by Disturbed
"Big Bad Wolf" by In This Moment
"Cirice" by Ghost

Worst Songs:
X's and O's by Elle King (I'm so sick of hearing it, it's played everyfuckingwhere!)

Most Hated People of the Year:
Donald Trump (I really hope he doesn't become our next president!)
Martin Shkreli (Shame on him for raising the price of a life saving drug 5,000%! Even Trump hates him!)

Best TV Shows:
The Walking Dead (came out a few years ago, but I just got into it and I love it! Now I know why everybody loves Daryl Dixon!)
The Avengers: Earth's Mightiest Heroes (Not new, but got into it on Netflix)
Hulk and the Agents of S.M.A.S.H. (Also not new, but also saw on Netflix)
American Horror Story: Hotel (Lady Gaga is actually a good actress)
Supergirl I'm more into Marvel than DC, but this is really good!
Star Wars Rebels

Worst TV Shows:
Keeping up with the Kardashians (They need to go away!)
Duck Dynasty
Heroes Reborn
Blood and Oil (Dallas Rip-off)
Pawn Stars, Storage Wars, etc. ( These I call "time wasters" because these shows tend to suck you in and keep you watching all day until your eyes glaze over)

Best Movies of 2015:
Star Wars: The Force Awakens
Ant-Man
Avengers: Age of Ultron
Crimson Peak (Tom Hiddleston, nuff said!)
The Martian (Haven't seen it yet, but want to nd I hear good things about it. Plus Sebastian Stan!)
Ricki and the Flash (saw this to help Fantastic 4 fail, plus...Sebastian Stan!)

Worst Movies of 2015:
Fant4stic (More like the Craptastic4! Don't get me started! Otherwise this part will take up the entire page. Plus I hate what they did to Dr.Doom! Ugh!)
Jem and the Holograms (I loved the cartoon as a kid, but trying to keep the same 80's look and concept in a time of Youtube just doesn't work)
Tomorrowland (Still a better movie than the Fantastic 4, but wasn't really that good.)
Pan (hearing how the pirates were singing "Smells like Teen Spirit" by Nirvana, and I wish I was kidding, and the white washing of Tiger Lily, both those really turned me off of seeing this movie)

Best Comics of 2015:

Marvel's Secret Wars (Dr. Doom pieces together fragments of destroyed multiverses to create Battleworld and makes himself God of that world)
The Walking Dead (Not new, but I am getting started on it thanks to the show)
Transformers Combiner Wars
