And we are now near the end of 2018! I can now complete this list by putting in the best of from the other half of this year. The other post before this one features the best from earlier this year, and would be best not to repeat them here. Some new features will be added, like Best small shows because I went to a lot more shows in smaller venues.
Best New Albums:
Halestorm - Vicious
Behemoth - I Loved You at your Darkest
Worst New Albums:
Everything is Love by Beyonce' and Jay-Z. Yeah, I didn't buy this charade! Once the dust settles, he'll cheat on her again, watch!
Best new Songs:
Uncomfortable, by Halestorm. A song about being yourself instead of trying to meet in the middle for other people.
Do Not Disturb by Halestorm. A songabout the time Lzzy had a threesome in Holland with a guy and girl, just doing what the male musicians have been doing for years.
Afterlife by SHVPES. One of the songs I do like off the second album. Doesn't sound like Iron Maiden at all, but that's OK!
Voice of Tresspass by Between the Buried and Me. A mix of swing type music with metal, very interesting combo.
All Love is Lost, by Body Count. Dedicated to the ex-nameless ghouls and to Barry McCay who is the lawyer suing Steve Harris.
Best New Bands:
Siva, a not yet famous band we saw opening up for Ghost A.D. that I saw at the Slidebar Kitchen. Maybe they'll get signed, maybe they won't, but they were good.
SHVPES - The second son of Bruce Dickinson forms his own group and just released their second album, but in my opinion, I liked their first album better. He sounds nothing like his dad, but he's making it on his own!
Between the Buried and Me - technically not new this year, but I just discovered them so it's new to me.
Best Major Concerts:
Ghost - Rats on the Road, Riverside Auditorium. The first time they did an intermission between Acts one and two.
Ghost - A Pale Tour Named Death, the Forum. One of their first arena shows! But it still felt as intimate as a smaller venue. Also confirmed for me no more standing floor tickets!
Best Small Shows:
Maiden USA, Ghost A.D. at the Whisky A GoGo. I will see both bands again before New Years Eve.
Under the Sun, Black Sabbath tribute band.
A League of Extraordinary Metal Heads, a band with a total of 30 members, but do different covers from Dio to the Cranberries.
The Iron Maidens - Gaslamp, Long Beach. My first time finally seeing this officially endorsed all female tribute band!
In Memorium:
Verne Troyer, Burt Reynolds, Fast Eddie Clarke, Aretha Franklin, Jill Janus, Vinnie Paul
Best Movies:
Black Panther
Avengers: Infinity Wars
Ant-Man and The Wasp
Worst Movies:
Happytime Murders, a movie about puppets retired from a 90's kids show getting murdered one at a time. It looked stupid!
Fifty Shades Freed, thank God there won't be anymore!
God's Not Dead 3 or 4. These propaganda movies need to stop! I'm content with going to hell thank you very much!
I'm a freelance graphic designer trying to get out into the world. Huge fan of the Swedish band Ghost. Also into Transformers and Marvel.

New Years resolutions of 2019
Starting this back up again because I need them, and I'm gonna do my best to stick to them.
1. Have at least one healthy meal a week, such as a vegan meal.
2. Hold back more on typing replies to those whom you disagree with if it would only waste your time or not make them see the other side. Especially on political posts. Speaking of which...share less political posts, unless it leads to having civil discussions.
3. Cut back on the time spent on the computer. try to complete chores before turning on laptop, and complete kitchen clean up before returning to my room.
4. Stick to finding a job since the clock is ticking on being left on my own.
5. If I borrow from my savings account, stick to paying it back with interest.
6. Next concert tickets I buy should be a band I haven't seen live yet. It can be the cheapest tickets and I can buy just one shirt.

Best and Worst of 2018...So far
OK, I'm doing something new. I'm starting this list early because so much has happened already, and it's not even June yet!
Best New Album:
Prequelle by Ghost. I haven't gotten it in the mail yet, but I know it's gonna be good!
Best Songs:
Dance Macabre by Ghost
Zombie- the Cranberries cover done by Bad Wolves
Person of the Year:
James Shaw Jr. The man who stopped the shooter at a Waffle House in Nashville Tennessee, and without a gun!
Most Hated People of the Year:
Roger Daltrey of The Who. I never thought I'd ever have to add his name here, but I have because of what he said about the #MeToo movement. He quoted that rock stars don't sexually harass women because they don't have to! In the past, I certainly had a crush on him, but not anymore! I'm not gonna listen to The Who for awhile (something else I never thought I'd say!)
Roseanne Barr: For what she tweeted yesterday where she called Obama's aide Valarie Jarrett an Ape, which prompted ABC to cancel her revived show Roseanne. Then she tried to blame it in Ambien.
I will update this list at another time.
