Family Reunions
How many of you have been to one? I was at a mini family reunion last weekend, although it was because my uncle died, but in our family (my moms side) we don't do funerals, instead, we get together at a family members house to eat, drink, and talk about all the good memories of the person. I also meet my moms cousins and second cousins, who I can never keep track of cause there's so many, but there are the ones who are my age that I will remember. The point is, sometimes...even a loss in a family can still bring everyone together.

Unfortunatley, my family reunions always turn out to be funerals. Very sad I thoguht, that it takes such a sad occasion to get us all together.
I'm sorry about the loss of your uncle. Were you close to him? What was he like? I wouldn't mind reding a post in his honor. Was there anyone there that you are really glad that you got to see and you would like to keep in contact with?
