Beatallica!

Some of you have probably heard of this band, but for those who don't know, here's my little promotion for them.

Do you like both the Beatles & Metallica but you just can't decide which one to listen to first? Well here's a band that sounds like both of them, and that band is: Beatallica! What they do is play Beatles tunes `a la Metallica, spinning the lyrics of both bands into hilarious twisted nonsense. They have songs titled A Garage Days Night, Sgt. Hetfield's Mototbreath Pub Band, and The Thing That Should Not Let It Be.

Since some of you have introduced us to lesser known bands that sound so great, I thought I'd do the same. I left a link to Beatallica's website under the links list, check it out for yourself, whether you like both bands, one of the bands, or neither of em, it's worth a listen. They have two albums done and you can download them for free.

I will have to check this band out. Sounds intresting. Even though I do listen to the Beatles a little more than Metallica...=)

That sounds pretty fun. I'll check it out when my daughter is awake. She's a big Beatles fan and loves some of the older metal like Deep Purple. I'll see what she thinks.

I think I'm the only Brit in blogland sometimes. But if I'm not, please tell me the Black Sabbath / Ozzie programme which I forgot to watch last night was no good.

What! I missed the Black Sabbath/Ozzy program? Damn!

Hi :)
Thanks for the visit.

So you live in Lancaster CA? I lived in Palmdale for about a year and a half before moving to Vegas then Studio City and now Miami. (I think I'll stay put for a while)

Take Care,
Kara

Hi Metalchick,
I love the idea of this musical marriage! I'll give them a listen when I've got some time once school ends.

Hope you're doing well.

Cheers,

'Master of Puppets Mystery Tour'

Very interesting Metalchick! It's amazing what can be combined musically. I'll check Beatallica out when I get a chance.

P.S. Check out my band's IAC site. We've got a new song coming out this week. Ed

Kara,
Lucky you. I understand why you would stay where you are. Palmdale & Lancaster suck! I wanna get out of here and go to London.

Like the drawing. Read your previous post about your friend, I hope that she can be strong enough to let her boyfriend go. It can be very hard as he probably has an emotional hold on her, hard for others to comprehend. We hang onto the hope of better times, b ut sometimes that is just not going to happen. I wish her the best. And for you to stand by her.. x Grace
