Well, first I would like to thank everyone who left a comment on my tribute to Pete Townshend. The number of commenters is the most I have ever gotten!
Tomorrow I will be going to Morro Bay for the 4th of July weekend celebrating Independence Day, so I will be gone until Wednesday. Some of you will probably be gone too, but for those who will be blogging this weekend, I have left a bunch of videos on my video blog for you to enjoy until I get back. Feel free to leave comments on them.

I almost forgot, It has been 4 years since John died and 28 years since Keith died. I want to take this moment to remember them both. I had just finished reading Moon-The Life and Death of a Rock Legend. Very good book, but very sad. Keith was like a shooting star that burned so bright but fizzled out too quickly. John died after I was just getting to know The Who at that time. I became a fan after seeing The Concert For New York City. I believe that John and Keith are both in Heaven sitting in God's Tavern.

Oh, your holiday sounds fabulous!
It's our Canada Day weekend so we have Monday off, too. Gotta love a long weekend. Where is Morrow Bay?
We have company coming out from the city for the weekend. Tomorrow night are the fireworks over the lake then the parade the following morning.
Then more fun & activities at Kinsmen Beach in town. It's probably similar to your Independence Day celebrations.
Have a great vacation & I'll check the vids out tomorrow at work - they come over that computer much better than mine.

Have a fun time! I have been fortunate to see John with The Who many times over the years, saw one of his last performances at The Royal Albert Hall, that was incredible! (All of them incredible) Never got to see Kieth, that would have been incredible aswell. Happy 4th to you!! x Grace

Entwistle's death left a 'huge hole' in The Who's sound. I'm glad that I got to see him play live many times. Absolutely thee best rock bassist & I've seen them all just about!
