I am very sad that Pete had to discontinue The Comedian, now he has stopped taking comments on his blog. :( I'm sure that there was a good reason why he had to. I hope that Pete will have his blog active again when he feels the time is right. I still love him and support what he does. I am going to try to see The Who when they come here to Southern California.
At least we still have his music to listen to and the music videos and concert footage to watch. I have put up the Rough Boys music video on my video blog. So check it out!
Update: I have just added a video of Pete Smashing his last guitar. Also, I apologize to those of you who are still stuck with dial up. I really wish you guys could see the videos really good.

This whole issue with Daily Mail is nothing short of a crime. We all love and respect Pete and I'm sure he has no doubt of it.
I think a major reason in his closing down the blog now is the publicity issue: Daily Mail spotted The Comedian and decided to make a scandal story out of it. They're bound to be keeping an eye on the blog to see if they can drag any more headlines out of it. As it's a tabloid we're talking about, they can take anything anyone is saying, even the most innocent comment of a fan, and twist it so it looks bad. It would certainly take the enjoyment away if we had to be worried that anything we say might end up in that filthy rag, possibly misrepresented. Of course, I'm sure Pete also feels that he needs to focus on getting the mixing of the album done and on the tour. I'm convinced Pete will be back when this thing has blown over.

We all still love Pete and hopefully some day soon he'll be able to come back to us here in blog-land. I think that he made the right decision in taking it down, after-all he doesn't want these negative stories to over-shadow the tour and album. I'm sure he will restart it when the time is right. I hope so anyway....!

Hey Metalchick, that's really funny naming your pets after the Beatles. As for Pete's blog, it was a smart thing to do. Too many people rehashing his past, would you want to wake up and read about a nightmare that almost ended your stellar career? I wouldn't. Off to more important things like the world tour. I've been watching some really old footage I've never seen before on youtube. It started when I was looking at some drum solos and found this one Keith Moon did. Good luck with getting tickets.

today the sun i shining here and we have blue sky without any clouds. I saw your pictures of Zuma beach. Great! I was in the USA only one time in my life, we visting a friend in Raleigh some days and then we drove 8 days from Raleigh to Atlanta, Jackson, New Orleans and on the coast to Florida (Epcot-Center). Back to Jacksonville, Savannah and Charlston to Raleigh. We made some stops at the coast and it was beautiful. The rest of our holidays we went to Washington and New York.
The video fom PT I don't know. I love his solo works.

I just think it's cool that someone in his age group and a huge star and extremely busy besides does this blog thing at all. Most of those guys won't let you anywhere near them without parting with some cash. So right there Pete is 10 times cooler!
