Happy Birthday Ringo!

He may be 66 but he still looks great today! I hope to see his All Starr Band someday.

Happy Birthday Ringo!

I remember he was one of my favourites while I was growing up.

He and Keith Moon were good mates, too.

Zak, Ringo's son, idolised Keith & now Zak is playing for The Who.

...it's funny how life goes full circle.

I did get your e-mail, but my computer wouldn't allow me to open the attachment... :(

Happy birthday Ringo.

His is one of a few that I do remember. Don't know why. Maybe because he was my cousin's favorite Beatle.

I guess you all probably know, but the closest the Beatles ever came to a reunion was on Ringo's album "Ringo". All the fabs appear on it, all wrote songs for it, but all 4 were never in the studio at the same time. Even so, they wouldn't have done that for anyone else.

I've always liked Ringo. He might not be the most brilliant drummer on the planet but he has always been a lovely , lovely person. Happy Birthday to him!

That certainly is a nice photo of him!

At George's tribute concert, it's all I could do not to cry when he sang, "All I've Got is a Photograph".

I've heard mixed things on his tours. It really depends on who he has in his lineup.

Then again, he's RINGO!!!!

Hi Chick, so sorry I haven't been by lately, but as you probably know I've been away and busy busy busy, but thanks so much for your visits to my blog. It's always lovely to hear from you, dear.

As usual, you've done some lovely posts, and I like the photo of Ringo - brilliant. Amazing to think he's 66...any comments on the fact he's 66 in 2006!!?

Looking forward to getting back to you again, and take care, dear,

Hi there!

Happy Birthday Ringo!

I saw the All Stars when John Entwistle played with him. Great show!

Yay Ritchie! I saw the All-Starr band with John Entwistle and Peter Frampton. My father took me when I was about 7, so unfortunately most of my recollection of it is lost. I still curse him for that, haha. But at the same time, praise him for taking me!

Anyway, thanks for your post about Rhiannon. The third chapter will be here, soon enough!

And...Don't forget to call your Mom. It will mean the world to her. I promise.

Ringo...

My wife's favorite Beatle.

He was a connecting factor for that band, among grumpy members, for many years after they broke up.

Great post, on Ringo!

Good afternoon metalchick,
this is a lovely picture from Ringo. I must say "The Beatles" are not my favorite band. I startet with "THE WHO" in the age of 13 and if you listen to WHO music you could not love the Beatles in this time. But today I like some songs.
All the best.

Hi metalchick,
I think Ringo's all star band was playing north of the city at a big casino mjust before I left, though I had something else on the go that night, or I would have gone just to see what he's up to these days.

Don't worry, my dear, your time in london will come.

Ringo is the type of drummer every band dreams of! He played exactly -what was necessary- on Those Beatle's tunes.

He's my favorite even if he still can't do a drum roll! Ha, Ha!

Ringo & Keith Moon...those are the guys right?
