95.5 KLOS Rocks!
When I went to go pick up my sister from work, I was looking for a radio station that was playing good songs, and when I turned it on to 95.5 it was playing The Who's "We're Not Gonna Take It" then as I'm waiting in the parking lot for my sister, "See me, Feel Me" plays right after that! Then after that it was "The Real Me" Yes! It was the radio station's Block Party. On some stations, a block is considered three songs in a row, but not KLOS, a Los Angeles based radio station that plays great rock music. They play a whole bunch of songs! They kept on coming! cause after "The Real Me" was "Long Live Rock", then "Emminence Front", followed by "We Won't Get Fooled Again" I bet that as I'm typing this, the songs are probably still coming! If only this station were available over the internet right now!, but I have to get a special receiver for that. I love moments like this when a radio station plays many great songs in a row! I hope this station will continue to do these specatular Block Parties! A lot of good radio stations are disappearing, being replaced by stations with no DJ whatsoever. That particular kind is called JACK FM. They say they play what they want, but that also means that there will be many songs you don't want to hear, and no block parties! That station sucks!

Hi Metalchick
or it is better good morning or good night? Never I know what time is now in America.
I like to hear songs from The Who on the radio, but never they play a song. Every time the same shit. Sorry! Most I listen to an radio station with classic music or a station with news and comments.
We hav'nt such good radio stations like in the USA.
All the best
Stefan
KLOS RULES! Block parties set that station apart. Good to know they have not wavered. KLOS and KROQ were some of the last radio stations I listened to in the 90's.
Hi Metalchick,
Thank you for sending my video to people that you know. I really like your blog of all the WHO videos. You have a really cool blog.
Have a great day.

Hi! I like your new profile pic. It's always nice when a station plays great music blocks like that.
That's so cool!
I get excited when a station over here in the UK plays one Who song at all (which is hardly ever!) It's always good when any great music get's played! :0)

Bookworm,
Right now as I'm typing this, it's the afternoon. Knowing that you live in Germany, I think we're 10 hours apart.
Alecia,
Yeah! Both those radio stations have been around since the 60's. KROQ is another cool station, unfortunately I can't get it in Lancaster, but when I drive to LA then I can hear it!
Aaron Jr,
Thank you! A lot of people are dicovering it and really like it! Glad you like my blog!
Grace,
Yes, it is great when radio stations do cool things like that, unfortunately those stations are becoming a dying breed.
Marymoo,
Are you kidding me!? The UK doesn't play The Who very much? How disrespectful! You would think that The Who's own country would play them on a daily basis! I'm shocked!
You know, I don't think I am a control freak but I've always hated radio because I want to select the music I hear and when I hear it. ...which is why I love my iPod so much! ...Ladytron is on right now.
DUDE!!! I love your profile animation! It's PERFECT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Hi Metalchick, glad to see an FM station that delivers!
Jack FM is horrendous!!! I don't know anyone who likes that 'format.'
Best, Ed
I would say the only good rock stations in the UK are on digital radio. (Planet Rock one example) Though they're likely to play My Generation rather than Long Live Rock! At work, they listen to a station called Chiltern FM, which plays the same crap all day. If I hear I Predict A Riot or I wish I was a Punk Rocker one more time, I'm gonna scream!
