Some of you have been told by me to try Sirius radio because of the awesome Who channel, so bear with me when I say it again, Sirius Rocks! Unfortunately my free three day trial ended, so I decided to open another e-mail address just to get three more days. Is this wrong? I know I should buy it, but I don't have any money. Also once you hear commercial free radio, it's hard to go back to regular radio. I wish The Who channel would be around forever, I really love it! So far I have heard many Who songs that I haven't heard before , such as "So Sad About Us" then there are songs I have heard but don't have on CD, such as "Guitar and Pen" I also heard their covers of Rolling Stones songs. I also love the two heavy metal channels Octane and Hard Attack.
If what I'm doing is wrong, I promise this will be the last time I open another e-mail address to get more free trials.

As I have two email addresses your idea is great and I'm gonna do it. I'm not going to pay it either because the Who channel will stop eventually and I may only use it at weekends and don't think it's worth it. (Is it over $15 dollars a month)
You never heard "So Sad About Us"? It's my very favourite Who track, from their second album (and covered by the Jam on their first). YouTube have a video of it.
I imagine you know from the radio that the two Stones songs were recorded in a hurry to support Mick and keith when they were busted for drugs?
Last night, when I was flicking through channels on the TV I can't believe I happened across Quadrophenia. I admit it's not among my favourite films (I prefer to just let my mind produce the pictures), but what a pleasant surprise.
hello metalchick!
it's so sad when we try something we wlove so bad and then it just goes away because of our lack money...
yes i heard abou tom morello being arrested! once again tom's showing the very special person he is...

My landlord/friend is a huge fan of Sirius radio! I use itunes to listen to stations from all over the country. . . but no Who station, as far as I know.
Maybe sooner or later you'll figure out how to pay for Sirius. It sounds like it might be worth it to you. I do remember, though, what it was like to be a student. At the end of every quarter there were two weeks when I didn't have money for food. Ramen -- ten packages for a buck. That's how I did it. That and hard boiled eggs, saltines, homemade vegetarian chili, and cheese sandwiches. Oh, and at the bar where I worked they let me eat all the tortilla chips I wanted. Sweet!
Metalchick,
No it is not wrong. I say do what you have to do to listen.I am fortunate to have Sirius Radio on my Dish Network TV. So I am able to listen whenever. Do you have satelite TV? The only drawback is that it's on the TV and if you don't have a good sound system, then it isn't as good but hell, it's The Who! I just crank up the volume and go.
I hope you can listen for a long while. You need to hear more...

you really never heard So Sad about Us? You need to do some serious CD shopping!
I've heard "So Sad About Us" now, in fact, I've heard it two times!
I know I need to do some serious CD shopping, but like ing said, I'm broke! I have to find a second job just to get a steady paycheck.
Dish Network has Sirius radio? Damn! I have the wrong satelite service! I get Directv, and they have XM radio, but it SUCKS!
You can really do that - using 2 emails? But don't they figure out that there's only one ISP?
hmmm
I really want to try the trial, but I have trouble downloading the software for these kinds of things...usually...plus my husband will throw a hissy...but he's going to be travelling in a few weeks so I'll get it then!
Sounds fab!
Hope you are well!
How is school going?
Thanks for all your comments on my blog, btw.
I've finally written a new post!
Will I see you at B&N in November?
Hope so!
We'll need to wear nametags or something so we don't miss eachother.
Maybe we could ask Rachel to make an announcement at the end of her performance and ask all bloggers to gather in one area or something!
:)
Take care,

Hi MC,
I think a lot of us remember our student days, so who are we to judge what's wrong or right?
I love Pete's demo version of "So Sad About Us" from his first Scoop LP. I say LP because that's the format I have of it.
Cheers,
AM
