I don't remember who started this, but all I know is after seeing Dale's, I knew that it was my turn, so here it is...
1. I talk to myself out loud when no one's around.
2. I constantly daydream. It can be a variety of things, from thinking of all the could've, would've, and should've kind of things to the scenerios that had happened in the past, to fantasies I wish would happen. (Should I be telling you guys this?)
3. I don't like drinking tap water, it has to be filtered or bottled. I don't like tasting what comes from the ground or the urban environment. Of course if there's ever a time when I have to drink tap water cause there's nothing else, then I will.
4. There are times when I'll listen to two completely different groups or genres of music in the same time period. Not in that particular order, I'll go from Cypress Hill to Metallica, or from The Who to Korn. Sometimes a bit of Pop and R&B singers such as Ciara and the Pussycat Dolls will get thrown in the mix too.
5. I have two spoiled housecats that I treat like babies. (Who doesn't?)
6. Some of you who have met me can see that I am a nice person, but I can also be very stubborn and I do get angry. Being a Gemini might explain that.
7. I have never rode on a Train. I would like to someday. I've been on many road trips and have flown on an airplane. I guess not too many people travel by train anymore.
8. I have a tongue piercing. Those of you who have met me probably didn't know that! to add onto that, I have a tattoo of the flame logo of the band Audioslave on my right arm. Here's what's interesting, I got the tattoo two days after the tongue piercing. I've had these things for almost two years.
9. I think Roger Daltrey is still Hot! Who else wants to look that good at 62? I do!

Interesting! All of it! :)
I'm weird and gross, I'll drink tap water. In fact I have a curiosity about it. What water tastes like in different places. The best tap water was some well water in Colorado at a family reunion for my ex. The worst is probably right here in O.B.
Come to think of it, I don't drink the tap water here. But I am adventurous
and have in other places where the tap water was better.
Hey, I hope you get to ride on a train sometime, I got to ride in a private room on a train once, across the top of the US. From WA to NY. It was neat. We had our own beds and everything. Fancy, seemed like it.:)
I rode a train a few years back also and it was still kind of neat, but the food prices were crazy, like I said.
You and I have a few things in common, like the cats. :)
Oops, I had gone on about how expensive food was on the trains, and then deleted it. But then I made reference to it. Hehe. :)
Yep, it's outrageously expensive.
Train stations can be pretty awesome, the older ones.
Lisa,
You do have a good point about tap water tasting better in other places. For example: there is this little hidden camping area up in Crestline California that has a spring. The water from that spring is so clean and taste so much better than bottled water. Next time I go back up there, I'm bringing along the 5 gallon water bottles.
That train ride sounds real nice, it does sound expensive, but it seems worth every penny.
Metalchick,
Thanks for leaving a message on Myspace. Hope you get tickets for San Diego.
I do a lot of day dreaming too. Great to hear that I'm not alone in that. The most popular one is that I'm a bass player in a band.
My music taste has become quite varied. From 60's bands to Rammstein. (German metal band, fully recommend them)
At times I can be quite shy, which is annoying.
I travel to London alot on the train. It's quite relaxing if it's not busy. Long journeys I do prefer flying though.
I have a tattoo as you know, but I'm not too bothered about piercings. My friend encouraged me to get my tongue pieced, but what put me off was she couldn't eat properly for a week.
During the 2000 tour, I still fancied Roger. Now he's starting to look older - if you go onto the pictures at Pete's site his hair is going a bit grey. Still looks fantastic though.
Nice list, Metalchick.
Just food for thought, or drink for thought: tap water is regulated (well, in Canada, anyway) whereas bottled water isn't. The illusion is that bottled is safer, cleaner, better, but this may not be true.
Continued good luck with the weight loss. Slow and steady wins the race.
Oh-aye on 1and 2. A miracle I made it through grade school, given 2.

I love water, so I don't mind tap water, but it is true it tastes different in different places. I think those with snow run off get the best water and well water sometimes tastes like dirt.
I like switching up music....it keeps things interesting.
Talking to yourself just makes sure you're listening.
I actually altered the photo using a program called Picasa. I enhanced the glow and made it look warmer. It was a beautiful pic to begin with.
Roger Daltrey IS still hot! Pete too! :P
I do what you do with music too. When i have my iPod on shuffle i can go from The Who to Eminem to Beyonce to classical music in a few minutes! Variety is the spice of life as they say!
xxmaryxx
Help! I'm trapped inside an IBM-PC!
Cookee talks to himself out loud too!
I admit I couldn't help but look at
Roger's bulging biceps(blush), but they were blown up 100 times their size on the screen. What can I say?
Although let's face it, Pete's arms have also looked nice in those T's on the Attic. I can't believe I'm saying that.Normally I don't let my mind go in those directions.;)
Hi, how are you? It was lovely to meet you but it's apity we didn't get more time to chat. I wondered what on earth time you all got back to Mollys hotel, it must have been so late!! Did you party on the beach?
If you want to go on a train you should come to England, they go all over the country and everyone uses them

I do the 'mix' tape thing random shuffle when I listen to music too but it goes from Black Sabbath to Patsy Cline to Beethoven, etc.
I never thought of it as odd, but it drives people nuts!
Hey Metalchick!
In one point I think I'm like you!!! I often listen to two different groups in the same time. All my friends think I'm crazy!!! And I think that is just funny!!!
Love, Charly
Hi! Yes, Roger is still hot! I hope you get to see The Who for X-mas. So close to you n all. Glad to hear your diet is going well.
take care xx Grace
Interesting list!
I drink tap water, but I put it in a pitcher with a filter. I miss New York tap water, which is the best I've ever tasted (if water can have a taste). I agree with A-M, I am wary of some bottled water because who knows where it's from?
I hope Santa is good to you in terms of the Who in San Diego! After spending way too much in Whoville lately, I am thinking, "How can I miss that show?" We'll see ...

Hi Metalchick,
what is tap-water???? I don't find this word in my dictionary.
I go from classic music direct to U2 and after this to jazz music with my IPod. There are not a lot of people which understand me. I think Pete and Roger looking young, because both thinking young and not old.
Wish you all the best
Love and peace
Stefan
Hi,
I want go to bed now and I saw your writing on my blog. Thank you. With books it is the same like with the music. I read very different books and sometimes three together. This will be crazy. What music you hear in this moment?
Stefan
Great list!
I need to do one!
I tend to more bitch outloud to myself than just talk. ...but only when no one is around.
And, yes, I also find Roger Daltrey quite hot.
You rock, Ms. Metalchick!
Thanks everyone!
You're responses have been very nice!
Lisa,
It's OK to let your mind wonder off into those areas!
I hope I get to see Roger's biceps up close when I go to San Diego!
I also have to admit that Pete's arms have been looking real good! Must be from playing his guitar a whole lot! After all, he did say that he can't seem to get it off his shoulders.
As much as I would love to see The Who around Christmas, I won't be seeing them until March 1st.
Hi, nice list. I actually get caught all the time talking to myself by my co-worker ~ pretty embarrassing. I have an idea for your train ride. It costs about $55 to get from your home town to San Diego, so if you get a ticket to the San Diego show in March you should consider taking the train and hooking up with other bloggers to get around. A tank of gas is not much cheeper and it could be a fantastic adventure!
It was so nice meeting you at Hotel Cafe. Though I'm a lazy blogger (Gary keeps me up to date) I'll check in every now and again.
Ciao for now!
Thank you...and you're cool, not weird!
Sully
Oh shame, and there I was thinking you were all partying the night away!
J
Hi There, sorry it took so long to get back to you. I haven't checked my blog in a while :)
I like your list. I can't drink tap water either, altough Anne Marie is right. I saw a study that bottled can actually be worse for you. I drink filtered.
and I must agree with #9!Very Very Hot!
Take Care,
Kara
Sorry for deleting that, but I worded
things awkwardly. You know what I meant.
I think Pete is hot, but I feel guilty if I think those thoughts because of Rachel. So I try not to let my mind go in those directions. That just is the way I am when it comes to guys that are taken, period. If they have a GF or BF, I don't let my mind go in those directions. I try not to, anyway. ;)
None of that is weird. Never having rode on a train is a little surprising for me, because I live on them. (and, unless you can take a romantic journey through the Rockies I can only recommend you avoid them in urban environments).
Sully's right - your cool!
